Hi, I’m Mykey Maker, a life long creative with knowledge, experience and skills across the creative & technological spectrums.
I am classically trained as an Illustrator and Visual Designer, self taught and constantly evolving in html, php, css3, WordPress and an array of other solutions including video editing and animation. I am adaptive and forward thinking. I love to learn, i love to explore, I love to share and implement both the established and experimental. I am solution focused, a proud team member and collaborator that can make the calls when needed or play a solid role as support, consultant or one man fixer.
My experience has been forged in print shops, design departments of private companies, with non profits, schools and universities and as a freelancer working with startups, solopreneurs and small businesses.
I am a communicator, I love input and have developed a skill for asking the right questions to build awareness, develop strategy, refine a vision and plot a course toward project goals and completion.
I am well versed in industry standard software and anything I don’t know, I can and will learn rapidly. My current explorations and learning include Youtube thumbnail design, generative a.i. using tools such as Leonardo, Gemini, Stable Diffusion, Comfy Ui and deepening my understanding of marketing as it is an ever changing landscape that has remained critical in all evolutions of business and technology solutions.
I was born and raised in a highly diverse environment, have experience in interacting and developing bonds and working relationships with people from an array of backgrounds and belief systems. I’ve been the nerd, the cool guy, the mystic, the outcast, the party monster, the most mature in the room and the one many rely on when they need a creative and/or complex solution.
